ypia Music at Wigmore Hall – late night concert

Join ypia Music for a special late-night concert at Wigmore Hall featuring the sensational Ebène Quartet. The evening includes an exclusive drinks reception for ypia members, hosted by Wigmore Hall Director, John Gilhooly.
The evening will start from 7pm with networking drinks in the downstairs bar at the Pontefract Castle [71 Wigmore Street, London, W1U 1QA]. A drinks reception will then be given in the Restaurant at Wigmore Hall at 9.30pm, with the concert starting at 10pm and lasting one hour. Attendees may arrive at any point during the evening.
The Other Ebène
Gramophone's Record of the Year winner, Quatuor Ebène, are nothing if not versatile and vivacious. This programme presents the group as ‘The Other Ebène’, a jazz string quartet presented in tandem with drummer Richard Héry and Fabrice Planchat, who engineers a new world of sound for them in repertoire drawn from a plethora of sources. Listen out for jazz improvisations, film soundtracks and popular musics of all sorts.
