Trusts and Foundations fundraising: From idea to reality

As Heads of Trusts and Foundations within major national institutions, Lindsey Glen (Royal Opera House), Hamble Padden (RSC) and David Burgess (Glyndebourne) play a key role in planning new initiatives, in building partnerships to make them happen, and evaluating the results. Drawing on specific examples, the speakers will talk about the organisational cultures - and, at a more practical level, the everyday steps - that turn ideas into reality.
This session, chaired by Angharad Lloyd-Jones from the Royal Academy of Arts, promises to offer unique insights into the workings of large organisations and, in a challenging climate for the arts, shed new light on the role we can all play in generating funds.
There will be a drinks reception after this event, which takes place at the Theatres Trust (click here for directions). A maximum of 50 places are available.
