2010/11 Season Launch Party @ The Arts Club - 40 Dover Street, Mayfair, London, W1S 4NP

Join ypia Music and ypia Theatre for a glitzy reception at this venerable members club in the heart of Mayfair, to herald the start of the 2010/11 season.

The evening features a drinks reception (included in the ticket price), entertainment from a number of emerging young artists from the music and theatre worlds, before DJ Neil Boperson spins us into the early hours with some laid-back tunes.


The event opens with something special by Wet Picnic, a professional yet mischievous theatre company. They create high quality work with a focus on strong content and visual style. Outdoors and indoors, nationally and internationally, they take their playful endeavours wherever the wind carries them.

Second up is innovative duo and YouTube sensation Living Room (below). This unique collaboration brings together bass clarinettist Christoph Pepe Auer and and hang player Manu Delago. Formed in 2006, Living Room have toured in more than 20 countries all over the world performing unique repertoire that explores the bass clarinet’s huge tonal range and the enchanting sound of the Hang. Performing original compositions as well as creative arrangements of popular music, by artists such as Nirvana and The Beatles, Auer and Delago provide a fresh take on chamber music. The group’s second album will be released in September 2010.

After the entertainment the bar will be open, allowing you to mix with all our guests whilst DJ Neil Boperson creates a chilled-out vibe.
