YPIA - The People Who Decide What's On: Programming in the Arts | 6th May 2015 | 7

Location: Century Club, 61 - 63 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, W1D 6LG

Join us on 6 May at the exclusive Century Club, where we welcome a fantastic set of guest speakers to discuss programming in the cultural sector:

David Lan (Artistic Director, Young Vic)
Roger Wright (Chief Executive, Aldeburgh Music)
Louise Jeffreys (Director of Arts, Barbican Centre)
Geraldine Collinge (Director of Events and Exhibitions, Royal Shakespeare Company)

We will hear about the practicalities and challenges of working in a programming role at some of the UK's most prestigious cultural institutions. Which colleagues do our speakers rely on within their own organisations, what sort of skills have helped each of them get to where they are today, and how do they adapt their approach to programming when working in different contexts?

The event will be followed by networking drinks at one of the Century Club bars.
