Shape-Shifting: Classical Music in the Media - YPIA Event

Shape-Shifting: Classical Music in the Media | 20th March 2014 | 7PM

Location: Jerwood Space, 171 Union Street, London SE1 0LN

Join us for a panel discussion focusing on the changing ways in which audiences consume classical music beyond the concert platform, exploring the evolving media through which the genre is promoted and developed in the age of the Internet.

We have a fantastic line-up of speakers from across the arts spectrum, including: Ben Pateman (Executive Producer of Opus Arte), Steve Long (Business Developer for Floating Earth and Signum Records), John Bridcut (award-winning filmmaker, broadcaster and founder of Crux Productions) and Hannah Taylor (co-founder, TallWall Media).

Doors at 18:30, discussion begins at 19:00.

The panel discussion will be followed by YPIA networking drinks at The Charles Dickens Pub at 160 Union St, London SE1 0LH.
